“Our attitude in the face of life’s challenges determines our suffering or our freedom.”

Receiving a life-altering diagnosis can feel like the ground has shifted beneath you. Beyond managing the physical aspects of your condition, you may find your mind racing - struggling to process what’s happening, worrying about the future, or longing to undo the past.
Many of my clients share that peace of mind feels impossible. They’re caught in a whirlwind of concerns:
• What lies ahead?
• How will my family cope?
• Why did this happen?
This constant mental stress can intensify symptoms and reduce your overall quality of life.
Has a Diagnosis Turned Your Life Upside Down?
The Mindful Peace Programme
A path to calm
The Mindful Peace Programme is here to help. Based on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) - a proven approach originally designed to prevent depression relapse - this programme offers tools to:
• Reconnect with the present moment.
• Understand and manage your thoughts and emotions.
• Reduce stress and find a sense of inner peace.
While it can’t change your diagnosis, it can help you live a more enjoyable, peaceful, and balanced life - right here and now.
Tailored to you
The standard programme runs over 8 weeks and includes a full-day retreat toward the end. However, we understand that every individual and condition is unique. The programme can be adapted to meet your specific needs and preferences, whether in a group setting or one-on-one.
“Being diagnosed with motor neurone disease was devastating. I couldn’t stop my mind racing and the worrying was all consuming. I spoke to Sarah, and she said that there are two types of suffering; the suffering you endure with the illness and its progression, and the suffering you get from what your mind does with it all.
I did her mindfulness course, and at first I would just experience breaks from the overthinking. As the course went on, I found I could use the tools to calm the anxiety and stop racing thoughts taking hold. I can manage what is happening in my life in a much more positive way.
Sarah is very calm and gentle, her confident and perceptive way of working has meant that I have felt totally supported as I have moved through the course. At all times I felt my needs were being met with understanding and care.”
